The primary reason we come together as a community of faith is to worship God. At Cheverly, we have worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00AM. Dress at service ranges from casual to suit and tie.

We worship together through prayer, singing, reading of scripture, preaching, and giving. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Holy Communion.
We observe the seasons of the Christian year, along with occasional services of healing, baptism, special song services, and covenant reaffirmations. Church members of all ages participate in worship leadership.
Children are always welcome at each of our worship services and are encouraged to participate fully in worship. The CUMC Children's Choir sings in worship at least once a month. Childcare, with a certified provider, is available during all worship services for infants and children through age 4.
