HISTORY
Cheverly Community Church began its first services in 1942 by meeting in homes of charter members of the church. Later that same year they moved worship to the Cheverly American Legion building until completion of phase one of the new church construction in early 1944.
The current sanctuary was completed in late 1953 as part of the second phase of the church construction. Following in 1963 was the much-needed addition of the parking lot. The education wing was added in 1968.
